Bluetooth Proximity Marketing

With our Bluetooth Advertising products, any business can start, run and customise their own mobile advertising campaign.

These Bluetooth Advertising products create what are known as a Bluetooth-Hotspot which is low cost, maintenance free, highly efficient and highly secure way of marketing. The hotspot creates a back and forth messaging environment, which enables any customer to download any kind of mobile compatible file such as Textfiles, MP3s, Movies, Company logo etc.

Thanks to the new revolutionary software you can now send and offer the following for download: infos, ringtones, logos, pictures, movies and videos, voicemails, mobile games and any kind of file.

With mobile phones or PDAs on a shopping tour, text messages, sending voicemails and emails, request specific product infos, download games, ringtones, pictures, software, MP3s and movies

Bloozy operates using the internationally recognized and accepted Bluetooth? data networking system.

The equipment operates in the Industrial, Medical and Scientific (IMS) radio transfer band at approx 2.45 Ghz and has been globally ratified for safe, interference free operation.

The Bloozy units operate with a Class 1 Bluetooth device which gives a theoretical range of 100m in free space.

When the Bloozy unit detects a Bluetooth enabled device in range, the details of the device such as the unique ID (MAC Address), user name of the device is logged into the database along with the date and time of the discovery.

Providing the discovered device satisfies the transmission criteria¹, Bloozy will then attempt to deliver the Bloozy message to the device.

If the attempt is successful then Bloozy will register that the device successfully received the file and will then stop any further attempts of sending to the device for the Resend Elapsed Time Period².

Should the device not accept the Bloozy message then the unit will continue to attempt to send to the device until the Maximum Attempts³ has been met with a Retry Delay⁴ between each attempt being set by the operator.



1. Transmission Criteria

These are the parameters that are set up by the system to determine whether or not the detected unit should have a transmission attempt made. They include:

OBEX Capable: Whether or not the unit is capable of receiving a OBEX Bluetooth message.

White-listed: If the owner of a device registers that they do not wish ever to be included by a Bloozy system a database of these devices will disallow the Bloozy unit to ever attempt to send to them.

Recently Received: If the device has only recently received a Bloozy message from this box

2. Resend Elapsed Time Period

The time period between possible attempts to send to a device again. This period has a minimum period of 6 hours and a maximum of 48 hours. This is primarily to stop the incessant sending of files to devices that have already been detected

3. Maximum Attempts

The maximum number of attempts after discovery of a device that the Bloozy unit will attempt to deliver the message, configurable to give the best chance of message delivery.

4. Retry Delay

The delay between attempts to deliver the message, configurable to give the best chance of message delivery.

Due to the compact nature of the Bloozy unit means it can be quickly deployed and even installed in temporary situations.

Clubber

The Clubber unit is perfect for the hospitality industry for delivering information and offers to the clientele within your venue.

Operation is simplicity itself, the operator can select to send a particular file or enter the details of the message or calendar event from the easy to use interface and after clicking Start, the Bloozy system will immediately start locating Bluetooth enabled devices and start attempting to deliver the selected file.

During an attempt to send the file / information, the user will be alerted that the Bloozy box is attempting to send data to them and upon acceptance the information will then be sent to target phone / PDA.

The information file, once transferred to the target phone can then be viewed and saved on the phone and in turn can be sent to other friends phones using the either Bluetooth or via SMS/MMS. When offering interesting and / or attractive offers we have found that this ability to send these files between devices can mean the exposure of the information can grow exponentially.


Clubber+

Clubber+ works in the same manner as the original Clubber unit but a second slave Bloozy unit can receive files FROM your clientele that may be record requests, birthday announcements, “shouts?for other people in the venue or image and video files from the senders mobile phone.

After review of the content by the operator the text or image file is then sent to the Slave unit which provides a SVGA video output for use on external slave monitors or projectors within the venue.


Flyer

The Flyer unit is a portable Bloozy system that can be worn like a haversack and will constantly transmit your advertising flyers to passers by with Bluetooth enabled devices. The unit can be used in conjunction with existing PR staff handing out paper flyers or used covertly by under-cover PR staff in situations that handing out paper flyers would either not be suitable or permitted.


Ad-Point

The Ad-Point is a Bloozy unit that will deliver information messages to clientele either inside your premises or passing by close to your premises. The unit quickly identifies a Bluetooth enabled device as it comes into range and immediately attempts to deliver the selected information message to the device.

The Ad-Point can be used for delivery of a message that is entirely directed to your own business or can be used to deliver a single information message containing information on multiple businesses.


Info-Point

The Info-Point is a Bloozy unit that user selects which information is delivered to the target mobile device. Using a touch screen display the user scrolls through the various information messages the unit has available to send, once send is selected the Bloozy unit scans the immediate area for visible Bluetooth enabled devices and displays to user all the discovered devices. The user selects their device name from the display and the unit then transmits the information message to the device.

The Info-Point can be used to deliver extended information messages that the user can take away with them for later or continued use.
